Im not delusional, really. I feel that by voting we have the possibility, although at this point in time, near impossible, to change the system. Voting for Democrats or Republicans for national elections will not make it happen. Voting for Democrats or Republicans in most state elections will not make it happen. Voting for anybody that is under the influence of the Democratic or republican party machines will not make it happen. It is possible that by a huge movement to elect independent candidates, perhaps from the Green Party or similar, if enough are elected, we might instill change if they were to band together. Enough that the moderates from both the Democratic and Republican parties would jump on board. But honestly, I think it to be near impossible right now. Look at Tammy Baldwin... See what she has voted for that is not in the best interest of her constituents or the country ...if you want democracy and freedom, shes not your choice .... So, what is left ... stay the course and continue voting as has been done historically and see your rights, your dreams, your lives get destroyed, or jump off the wagon train and make a change. And if you dont make the change, expect the only way left is via revolution, because it will take that. Peaceful non violent revolution preferred.
