Im not gonna lie, I wasnt too excited about my birthday as the day was drawing nearer. I was a little sad because not only am I turning 41, my oldest son is turning 21 and Id always envisioned us celebrating together. Although it saddens me that he has chosen to celebrate in NY, I woke up feeling blessed and better than I have in the last couple of days. I decided to shake the emotional stuff and enjoy my day at my cookout with friends and family today. God has blessed me with another to live and Im going to enjoy EVERY minute of it!
