Unconditional love its called they say So what did I do wrong that fateful day? I got bored and chewed and messed on the floor It wouldnt have happened if youd taken me out before. You say I bit but that is a lie I only wanted attention......*sigh* I wanted to play so grabbed your hand Didnt realise in trouble Id land You see I know youre bored with me now Lets get rid I heard you say......WOW! Im YOUR dog,Id love you forever I didnt deserve the smack of leather I hid and cried and understood no more Why were you angry?.....what for?? Im only a dog,YOUR dog too Please please tell me what did I do? From that day things changed a lot I was still YOUR dog,which bothered you not I was fed and watered but just left alone Not a walk,a hug or even a bone. Then one day a lady came Took me to rescue.....I think thats the name I was sad and scared and cried at first My master Id lost,no feeling worse. I hope you are happy now I have gone Cos I am,have found a remarkable home The people love me,adore me infact We have even made a little pact. Im here to stay for ever and a day And they wouldnt have it any other way Cos Im THEIR dog now,no longer your pest And I will give them my love,they deserve the best!
