Im not one to beat up my gums on social media without hitting the ground in real life and doing work. Many of us may feel hopeless and frustrated with all that goes on in our country, but I sincerely believe all is not lost and I sincerely believe we can change it. God asked Moses to look at what was in hand and Hes asking you to do the same. What is in your hand? How can you be a part of the solution and not the problem? Well, Im using my talents and whatever resources I have in the new year Gods willing to re-launch my domestic violence campaign for Bahamian women and men. Maybe you can join me: maybe you have design talent, youre good at organizing, you have great financial resources or maybe youre a great speaker. Maybe youre passionate about something else in the country, like litter and keeping it clean and so maybe you can consider organizing or joining a group that tackles this issue. Point is, lets not waste anymore time flapping our gums if were not moving our feet and extending our hands. Obviously, were entitled to our opinions and expressing our feelings but how bad does it have to get before WE AS A PEOPLE start coming together and attempting to make a difference?
