Im not real hip on lawsuits, however this is going to be interesting to watch and learn about. Ive said for years that gun free zones are a false sense of security. Why anyone would assume a sign suggesting nothing bad can happen in its proximity is asinine. Be extension, and put simply, if youre going to systematically remove my right to choose self defense in your establishment, then you assume the responsibility of protecting it. You cant have it both ways. Either Im allowed my God given and Constitutionally protected right to stay among the living, or you better have plenty of security handy... This suit may hinge on that entirely... Of course the theater chain is saying they cant be responsible. Id buy that argument if they hadnt gone to so much effort to establish their property and business as a GUN FREE zone...
