Im not superstitious but sometimes signs are too overt for me to ignore. Today I was driving home from town and the view of my mothers beloved Mount Yonah caused a surge of grief out of nowhere. Seriously, I pass views of Yonah every day and I live in my mothers house...but today something hit me. As I came up the walk to the front door, a lovely butterfly was sitting placidly on the side window glass reminding me that all is well. We had several butterfly related events right after my mother died (including her seeing butterflies in her hospital room) I took great comfort in this knowing that the butterfly is a symbol of resurrection. Once I again I feel assured of life after death and all is well with my mother.
