Im not sure exactly when Jesus arrived on earth, we could debate about the exact date and time for a lifetime. What I do know on this silent night is when He arrived in my life. I know the time, the date, and the place. My heart wasnt like the Inn that had no room, but more like the messy stable out back, unfit for anyone to arrive and stay, let alone God. But He did come, and He did stay, and He hasnt left, and I know its still a lot unkept, but He keeps on helping me fix up the place. I know salvation is never the pawn to keep me working hard on me. A passport to heaven is printed. He just wants me to keep painting these walls with grace, trust, obedience, faith, hope, and love. Sweeping the floor of resentments, grudges, poor thoughts, and defiance. He wants what is best for me, to see me well, for joy to overflow even in sorrow, and to grow closer together each and everyday. Im sure glad that Jesus came to earth for you and me. Dont worry about the mess when you invite Him in. He is used to that.
