Im not sure how many of you know how remarkable my Grandmother Lila Pendergras really is. She has hosted me for these two weeks while dad was sick, tolerated my exhaustion and fast food almost daily. She has catered to my emotions, sometimes cleaned up after me when I rushed out forgetting to do something and has waited for me every night to get home to see how dad is doing. Today she held my hand at 5am while I was on the phone authorizing tissue donation then got up and made breakfast for everyone even though only the little ones ate. By 9:30am she had a houseful of family, each of us running on different emotions and she just kept moving....forever the hostess....my Grandma is an absolute Rock-Star. She helped us go through paperwork and dug through her personal photo albums for pictures of our dad for us, made Anji and I dinner this evening and cleaned the kitchen afterward....then helped me put clean sheets on my bed. Finally at 9:25 she is sitting down relaxing with a book. We are so blessed to have our Grandma.....she is a rock and a rock-star....
