Im not sure how to start this I will try to keep it short. First I want to thank everyone of my friends and church family for all your prayers. Jeff and I were not going to say anything until after we talked to the surgeon but were getting a lot of questions so we decided to just tell everyone whats is going on and where we are at in the process. I have a condition called Chiari Malformation 1. A lot of times people live with this for years and it is just monitored with regular MRI scan. But my symptoms are getting to the point thats its becoming difficult to work and deal with on a day to day basis. Severe headaches, forgetfulness, mobility in my neck and right shoulder and arm, tingling and numbness in my extremities and face, issues with breathing. So we see a surgeon on April 14th to see what our next step should be. From what the doctors have said this can not be reversed and there is not a treatment as far as medicine goes for this. The only option is surgery but the surgeon has to determine if my situation is that far along. So please continue to pray as my Pastor said today God has a plan and he is in control.
