Im not sure if I ever mentioned this, but back when I was a kid before every home came equipped with a PC, I owned a BBC micro computer. Back then games were wire-frame affairs... the ultimate game was Elite (the very first one) It took imagination back then to play a wire-frame game and see in your head real spaceships haha! Did you play anything for so many hours, that looking back forty years, you still want to play it? That was Elite to me. Later as computers improved there was Elite Frontier and then the wing commander series etc, but nothing ever beat that very first Elite on cassettes! Anyway, a while ago I backed two kickstarters. One was Star Citizen, and is still in development. It is the heir to the wing commander games. And then theres Elite Dangerous. Elite Dangerous is out 16th December. I backed it way back, and have just been granted Gamma access. Here is a new video about the game. Its long https://youtube/watch?v=0GxJbOMaXa0&list=UUd1Xmm1TFBD-lfZUWaWf7EA
