Im not sure if its ok to post this here but I have been having a hard time rehoming my cat. I rescued her when she was 3 weeks old, along with two other babies who didnt make it. Syringe fed her kitten formula, then onto pureed baby food, two rounds of antibiotics, fought ringworm for two months, and deworming treatment, flea treatment ect. My initial plan was to get her in good shape and find her a nice loving home. I ended up falling in love with her. Putting in all that work, how could you not? Well as she has gotten older (7 months), her feral gene has really made an appearance. She is a very loving and affectionate cat, but she lets it be known when she gets overwhelmed (scratches her way out of your arms). I have two toddlers (under 3) and two dogs. She does ok with my chihuahua, they chase each other through the house playing. I dont know how well she would do with other cats. I think she just needs to go to a calmer environment with someone who understands her and has the time and patience to really bond with her. Im sad to be rehoming her, but its in HER best interest. Shes a beautiful cat, she just needs one on one attention that I dont have time for. Plus I am allergic to her, so that makes it even more difficult. If any of you know of anyone interested in giving her a loving furever home, please let me know. I had someone interested on craigslist but they werent willing to give me more information about themselves. I dont want to give her away to just anyone without at least learning a little bit about you. Too many jerks out there. Thank you in advance.
