Im not sure that I have any picture of me with Uncle John (were there cameras back in those days??) But what I do have is the memories of what an incredible man he was and what a huge influence he was on my life and our Kecskemethy family. As a young girl of 8 - Uncle John welcomed me and my mom and sisters. He was the strong grounded support I needed - with lots of warmth, love, care with the perfect sprinkling of humour and fun. I remember thinking that no one on earth could grow such massive and delicious raspberries and have goats and drink goat milk. E Such an odd mix for this wee city girl. His kindness, goodness, care and twinkly eyes will forever be in my heart. Uncle John, thank you for being you, thank you for sharing yourself with me, my family and so many other people whose lives you have touched. You will be forever in my heart and in my memories.
