SETAC are holding a conference which will be held at the Adelaide Convention Centre 14-17 September 2014. SETAC is basically ecotoxicology, environmental toxicology and/or environmental chemistry - but they sound like they are in place to keep us safe however, this company is linked to mining, oil and chemical companies. The OGTR (office of GeneTech Regulator) actually office is right across the road from The Australian Environment agency - I understand correlation doesnt mean causation but they are closely linked by proximity. The Director of the Australian Environment agency is on facebook - https://facebook/chris.leesteere - I think Chris Lee-Steere has been paid by Monsanto to provide pesticide risk assessments but I will find documentation before I get quoted on that. This shows SETAC global partners include Syngenta. The Nth American branch has members including Bayer, Dow Chemical and Monsanto.
