Im not sure where to start with what I am thankful for today, but to paraphrase our Vicar Joel this morning at Salem Lutheran, I hit the lottery when I was born in the United States. I am thankful for the freedom to worship in the way I wish and the chance to associate with whomever I wish. I am free to go wherever I like and do the things I want. I am thankful for the love of family and so many friends. I give thanks for my home with a roof over a warm bed each night protected by men and women who put their lives on the line every day to protect us. I am thankful for a refrigerator stocked with more food than I deserve whenever I want it. I am also thankful to have a good job with a great organization to name just a few things. God has blessed me richly and I thank Him!
