Im not sure why people celebrate and get pleasure in other people’s downfalls. Blogs and social media have taken this idea to a level unfathomable, and It’s become the norm these days. It’s so easy for some to do, especially if they are an enemy, someone whose done you wrong or a person you don’t really care for. Last time I checked, it was uncouth and hateful to rejoice in others misfortune, even IF they’ve caused you hurt or grief. What happened to, “Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you?” Or “Don’t rejoice when your enemies fall; don’t be happy when they stumble.”(Matthew 5:44 and Proverbs 24:17) Even if I never knew those were scripture, I saw them displayed in my grandparents and parents lifestyle without them ever having to tell me verbally. It takes maturity and a whole lotta love to live this out, but it’s needed in our society like never before! LIVE LOVE ON PURPOSE! #irritatedwiththenewnorm
