Im not taking sides - I refuse since I only hear what the media says. But its not right for organizations to come out like this criticizing the many many hours of hard work the grad jury put in - even going past their required time of service. If the Bar truly feels they were incompetent in their duties then, yes, investigate. But this undermines our whole jury system! I have always been a proponent of jury service, but if it means being subject to something like this then I will not serve especially on a grand jury! People do not realize how much time and sacrifice goes into grand jury service. I hope those who have served will chime in and explain what it means to give a year of your life to something we should be proud and honored to do, not fearful if the aftermath it can cause. Today my prayers are for those jury members and their families as I cannot imagine how difficult their Thanksgiving week is now seeing whats going on across America. Very sad state of our union!
