Im not the biggest fan of country music but I can appreciate some of it. So much of it makes me nostalgic because we went through a country phase in the 90s hehe. Our parents hated country music so as a way to rebel, we decided to not only like it, but insist upon playing it ALL the time. We even chanted W-T-C-R in the car until they changed it. #weird Every now and then Two Sparrows in a Hurricane pops into my head and I dont stop singing it for days and days. It came out right around the time the Michael Family got cable and more than 3 channels (yes kiddos, there was a time when people survived with three channels alone 😱). CMT was one of those channels. Shannon Petree, ask Travis L. Michael about Sawyer Brown. I dare you. This sparrows song really gets to me and I love it. I love how country songs tell a story. The world says theyll never make it//Love says they will. Look it up on YouTube. (But DONT look up How Can I Help You Say Goodbye by Patty Loveless unless you want to spend the rest of the day in the fetal position, with tissues on your face and an ice pack on your head. #no ) On a side note: Tanya Tucker had a reality show once and she was a nutcase.
