Im not too sure I like the Facebook anymore. Yesterday, Crystal and I went and finished our Christmas shopping for the kids. While waiting in line at the Old Navy in Waco, TX, I noticed two ladies that also grew up in Fairfield. One of which, I went to high school with for a year or two. I dont know either one of them very well... Dont know them at all really. Just who they are. I didnt speak to either one, but they saw each other and spoke to each other for a minute. Ive been on FB for 3 or 4 years now, and neither of them have ever popped up in the People You May Know part of my news feed. But today, there were both of them... Within the first 5 people listed that FB thinks I might know. Now in all fairness, FB says one of them has 22 mutual friends and the other has 39. So it would make sense to put them in the category of people I might know. But why now? Is it possible that FB tracks us on our mobile devices? Gathers information about who we have mutual friends with, where weve been, how long weve spent time in close proximity of those people, etc? I suppose it could be divine coincidence. But I dont think so.
