Im not trying to knock the current movie and song Gods Not Dead, I - TopicsExpress

Im not trying to knock the current movie and song Gods Not Dead, I understand the sentiment. I dont however see the effectiveness of regurgitating the statement, other than placing a ridiculous concept into the minds of people who werent even considering it. I dont go around saying, gravity exists anymore than I try and convince people that circles are not squares. Inherent in the argument is a ridiculous sense of plausibility that doesnt even need to be addressed. It makes Christians look like those who run around saying Elvis is not dead or Caesar existed!! God doesnt need us to defend His existence. The heavens declare His glory, so much so that men are without excuse whose hearts are hardened to point of rejecting Him and refusing to bow their knee and give Him praise and glory. Tell me Who God is, as the apostle Paul did when in Acts 17 he spoke to the philosophers of his day. But running around saying God is not dead seems a bit silly when the man (Neitsche) who coined the phrase God is dead was crying out to God on his death bed b/c he was so scared to die. Just something to think about...
