Most people do not know this, but the Axis coalition in WW2 had four poles and not three. Most people know about Germany, Italy, and Japan as members of this axis, but they do not know that Islamists from Eastern Europe and the Middle East were allies of Hitler. When the Nazis lost, a massive nation-building program went under way in Germany, Italy, and Japan which included, among other things, marginalizing Nazism and hunting down every last Nazi war criminal. Unfortunately, none of this happened in the Middle East. While steps were taken to divide up the Middle East to prevent the re-emergence of a Caliphate that could threaten the West, no attempt at de-Nazification was done. As a result, the Middle east became a haven for Nazis. The Nazis master race theories became re-packaged as Islamist master religion theories, weaponizing the militaristic aspects of Islamist thought into the worst monstrosity the world has ever seen.
