Im noticing the resurgence of a track theme in Hollywood films. All Run Forest Run inspirational. Unbroken features a track story. Now McFarland, USA will feature an entire film about race and running. Just want to let it be known that I was a running foolio as a boy. I actually once broke a low hurdles school record at Alhambra High School. Dont get me wrong, I was no Louis Zamperini. My record was not unbroken. In fact, it barely lasted one week. The point is that I enjoyed this trailer, especially because the last scene touched on a serious problem this film has from jump street, but it did so with humor. Lets hope Costner doesnt jinx this film the way he did Waterworld and The Postman. Dude is a bomb magnet. Im going to watch this movie because I was once a skinny brown boy who wore flimsy running shorts with bad sneakers. But I did so with long heart and like the wind.
