Im now over yesterdays trauma enough to share! Was a sticky few moments that left me shaking!!! Our lovely dog Sky (who is aggressive on the lead but fine off) Brodie boy and I stepped out the house ( on extender leads, may I add, not me!) I locked the door then turned to see two stray dogs running at us!!! Sky went full lunge at the biggest dog which was a very tall akita and the other one a very boisterous staffy! With in a nano second they were snapping, jumping, growling at one another! Me tangled in leads between them all... Let go of Brodie who was just jumping around like a big fairy not knowing what to do! I run for cover behind the car but they all followed me! I somehow managed to get Sky into the car! They had stopped scrapping with each other but the ever so friendly staffy wanted in the car ( Sky does not like jumpy dogs and tends to put them in their place) then Brodie was thrown back in the house but the staffy ran in! Had to grab it b4 it found the cats (not sure if it likes them or not but wasnt taking any chances!) So my dogs are now safe but the two runaways took off together at top speed and left me a quivering wreck! They were both friendly enough but I seriously thought Skys attitude may have gotten us ripped to shreds! Both those breeds are very powerful dogs and pack mentality could easily have kicked in!!! 5mins later a frantic owner ran by looking for them! All back home safe and sound now! Phew!!!
