Im on the plane. I have gone to Hell & back this morning, but Im on the plane. After yesterdays flight was cancelled, I was re-booked on US Air for a 6:15 am flight today. Evidently, even though I had an email confirmation, something went wrong & they didnt show me on this flight. So I spent 1 1/2 hours with a supervisor who was rude & literally brought me to tears, & she was finally able to confirm me on an already over-sold flight. Then came the security line. Had no time to dump my water so they threw away my brand new Des Moines Marathon water bottle. Then I got selected for one of my bags to be searched. They literally held the plane for me, & now were late because they are waiting for my checked bags. Holy buckets! Still trying to smile, but today its not so easy. Need to stay focused on something I posted yesterday...I dont have a broken neck & my house is not on fire....I will be ok, & I have much to be grateful for. Over & out. 😊
