Im one of those people that love a good surprise and Saturday was able to pull off a sneak attack on my friends and family who were attending the Tuatha Dea video shoot and show and Scruffy City Hall in Knoxville, Tennessee. For a month I had been planning to attend but events with my Mother who has been in the hospital for the past two weeks after falling and breaking 4 ribs, made me change my plans. On Friday, after getting word that she was having breathing problems, I phoned my Daughters and informed them that my plans were to stay home and try to come up for a visit when Mother was feeling better. Saturday morning after a visit at the hospital with her, we had a very long and pleasant chat. It was great to see her so improved and so on my way home, I had a spontaneous urge. I was going to drive the 4 hours to Knoxville and just walk in and surprise everyone! Left home at 3 in the afternoon under sunny skies and giggled to myself most of the way at my plan. Alex Bledsoe who was visiting with the band with plans to take part in the video shoot, sent a message that it was regrettable that we wouldnt meet this time but maybe would meet some other time. I had been looking forward to meeting the author of Tufa Tales after reading his work and loving the books so much! So answering him back I informed him that I would be coming after all but to keep it a secret and he was pleased to be my partner in crime. :D. Betty, my GPS, once again proved to be my best traveling aid ever, and arriving in Knoxville by about 8ish, and finding an excellent parking spot on the street just three blocks down from Scruffy City Hall, I walked through the doors just as the video shoot was over and the band was preparing sound checks for the show! What gleeful energy filled my whole being at being seen one by one by all my friends and family who were present as I was bombarded and absorbed into their warm and loving embraces! I am wonderfully blessed! Thank you everyone for the love and warmth that all of you share with me.
