Im only 26 and have had many failures but on many different levels - TopicsExpress

Im only 26 and have had many failures but on many different levels of leadership from teams, squads, coaching, and officers and one thing Ive learned is although I see things one way it doesnt mean that those under me do the same and if you want to succeed it has to be as a unit. Each one of these positions has a job and when done correctly it works but at no point is a leader supposed to push his ideas on another person without consideration of their feelings. If you are placed in a position by peers it is to represent them and their beliefs, as a majority, not be a representative of what you feel they should change in their beliefs so they can get to where you want them. This idea has failed me a lot of times when incorrectly done and Ive learned a lot and still am. Its amazing how we elect a president to represent us, as a majority, and when he doesnt do a good job we get upset but its ok for us to take a position and say I want it to be this way and you should want that as well. This attitude only loses support and Im really glad to be learning it now because its going to make me something great one day and I know it. Lovin life right about now...why?...because Ive realized that it doesnt have to by my way and me get all worked up that its not...If I represent someone I have to be here for them and the cause and not my own beliefs. Its amazing how complicated life can yet its so easy. We have everything we need to succeed! just a little thought
