Im only posting this interview because it relates the sad state of affairs in that area. One Morro Bay Power Plant is a coal fired plant, not a nuclear one and other than being operated by PG&E has nothing to do with the Diablo Canyon nuclear power plant on Avila. Listen to the generalized hey its no big deal attitude about Diablo and Fukushima in general. Then there is the fear of microwaves. Folks once the microwave is shut down the only thing it leaves is heat, nothing more. The term nuking your food is a joke. Microwaves are not dangerous unless pointed at you and active, once the power is off they leave no residual save for heat energy. It really is sad to me because I know not just that area but the people and if it is something bad or grave, they will just try and ignore it.
