Im open to sensible offers on my boat. 1930s ships lifeboat conversion. 2 years ago she had a new engine a Lister 4cyl 37hp, new gearbox, prop and shaft.. Basically mechanically brand new. Galvanised steel hull in 1/2 inch and as good as the day it went in, due to being galvanised rather than mild steel. Mitre was out of the water 4 months ago and coated in 3 coats of two part epoxy. Shes a solid tank of a boat and in turn key condition. 30x10ft and with around the same cubic as a 45ft narrowboat, but with much more functional space because of the width. The engine and gearbox.. Etc was 7ks worth of work. Inside shes fitted and all solid, although most likely done in the 80s so she could do with a refresh, although there is nothing that needs replacing bar the water boiler. Good little first home for somebody. Mitre is currently in Leeds. Ive looked into craning and flat bed trucking and am up for arranging those logistics if the distance is such that moving by the water ways isnt practical.
