Im opening my Christmas whiskey early in celebration. I finished my story and will submit to the Austin Chronicle Short Story Contest tomorrow, just in time. I feel even less positive about this years than the one two years ago, when I managed to bribe all the right judges and get third place, so Im hoping that means maybe Ill place second this time.
