Im participating in the American Foundation for Suicide Preventions Out of the Darkness Community Walk this Sunday in remembrance of my friends Pablo Puron and Ryan Huie. A person dies by suicide about every 13.7 minutes in the United States. Attached is a link to my personal donation page for the event. More than 87% of funds donated are used to educate the public about mental disorders and suicide prevention, fund scientific research, promote policies and legislation that impact suicide and prevention, provide programs and resources for survivors of suicide loss and people at risk, and to offer educational programs for professionals.
