Im past blessed, overly thankful, and a cry baby, and this is why! Our entire life changed when we found out my mom had cancer, but God answers prayers!!!!! One day my mama Lila Day, Eunique Adams and I were talking about the baby and how excited we were to have him. During the conversation I said Ooh I cant wait for Christmas its going to be fun because of Aston and Eunique said me either!! My mom became very emotional and said yea I know, but I just want to be here I dont want to be gone. She wiped tears from her eyes, me and Eunique both said YOU WILL BE!!!! Fear overtook me and my heart stopped for minute, the thought of my mom not being here took my breath away. I prayed and said Lord please let my mom be here to see Aston at Christmas and let mama be well enough to enjoy seeing him. Better yet God take all the cancer away. After chemo started every week after treatment my mom has been hospitalized. Mom said, with the saddest look on her face, I dont want to be in the hospital for Christmas. Fighting back the tears I said me either mama, however her treatment was last Monday (remember this). Ive been praying hard petitioning and reasoning with God as if I was running something, begging to allow my mom to be alive for Christmas and at home. First shout is SHES STILL ALIVE, second shout is SHES HOME AND NOT HOSPITALIZED, because normally she would be in there, and thirdly SHE LOOKS GOOD AND SHES LAUGHING AND TALK ING. HALLELUJAH! ! I love my Christmas tree and the gifts under the tree are beautiful, but it does not take the place of Jesus hanging on the TREE for us to have life in abundance and be forgiven of our sins. And Jesus the greatest GIFT because without Him we wouldnt be here as blesses as we are. So I said all that to say there are no words just tears of joy because this is truly a Merry Christmas for me and my family. Be blessed and enjoy your loved ones! !!
