Im playing around trying to reword an old story before I start on a new book, and Im having trouble naming one of my secondary characters. Hes a newspaper editor and sort of a pest, but in a nice way, if that makes sense. I first named him Miles which I like, but its too much like my main characters name of Michael. So what would you name him? Hes in his late thirties. Loves digging up a story. Wants to sell newspapers, but really wants to serve the community in a good way too. Ive got another name in mind, but Im curious what you might come up with. I probably would like a one syllable name best. Suggestions?
