Im posting for my Mom. She just took two shih tzu dogs approximately 10 mo. Old. From someone who couldnt care for them. They are energetic, sweet dogs, but skiddish and arent tolerant with small children (which she has around often) my mom works long hours so these dogs have no kind of life. She is unfamiliar with their strict grooming needs and just isnt the right caretaker for these dogs. She doesnt want to give them away, because free dogs can easily go to bad homes, she wants to make sure that their future forever home belongs to someone who is familiar with the breed and will be able to give these dogs the time and attention they need. What would be a reasonable rehoming fee? Also, are there any recommended foster programs or animal rescues near port Orchard?
