The email which threatened to physically attack me came from ralph_...@yahoo Cinque denied that he used this address. But a quick Google of it, turned up this website advertisement, vinlandsaga/order.html Since he is likely to delete that ad, I copied it and saved the image to my website, at jfkhistory/ralph1.png The red ovals and the html address of the site were superimposed by me. I have a brother who is a DBA (database administrator), and he explained to me that there is a way to send emails from your computer in which you can make it look like its coming from a specified email address. What I do know, from personal experience, is that if someone hacks into your email account, they can send out emails that have your account address in the header and look as if they came from you. It has happened to me a couple of times. Fortunately, the emails sent in my name were nothing more than spam advertisements. Again, I am in no position to know the truth of the matter, and I have no desire to take sides. Just know that there is a possibility that Ralph is innocent. In principle, somebody in Texas can get an ISP account with a California ISP (although not an actual internet connection), with access to the mail server. But frankly, I dont think Ralph knows enough to do that.
