Im posting on behalf of a friend whos urgently seeking a forever home for a Mexican rescue dog. Her name is Sarafina. This lovely girl deserves a second chance. Contact me if you (or someone you know) can offer her a loving home. Notes given to me about Sarafina: **Shes very laid back and gets along with children, cats and other dogs. ** Sarafina is a sweet, quiet dog who has lead a very sheltered and lonely life. She was adopted at 6 weeks old from a spay and neuter clinic by some Canadians. Was never immunized, or walked until this year. She had caretakers half the time as her owners would go back to Canada. The guy who looked after her was abusive beyond words. When the owner decided to sell their Mexican home they were just going to euthanize Sarafina. Melanie at Mexican Beach Dog has gracefully taken her in and given her a wonderful foster home at her professional boarding kennel but we need to find her a home quick! I fostered her for just over a week and she went from being sad, timid, shy and withdrawn to a happy, frisky and incredibly loving dog!! This sweet dog deserves to be loved. She doesnt understand why she was just given up on. Please help me find her a home. Attached are 2 photos of her. The first is a before photo of when I rescued her and the after photo was the result of just one week of love. Look at the difference in her eyes! She has a beautiful temperment and is well behaved... shes make a perfect companion and best friend. Please help.
