Im posting this article, as well as one from another source in the comments that talks about how the FDA classified something in Miralax as affecting peoples memory -- but decided it wasnt a big enough problem to announce it. When the youngest had chronic constipation, I was told by numerous doctors to give her Miralax EVERY SINGLE DAY. I refused. Something in my gut told me that I shouldnt be giving it to her. Instead, we worked on natural fibers and lots of fluid, and making sure she went to the bathroom at least every other day (because of her SPD, she avoided bowel movements). Im glad I trusted my gut.
