Im pretty confident the penicillin has got the better of my tooth infection. I still have the swollen area in my gun, with its pointy bit, but the whole thing is far less tender and I no longer get the throbbing in my whole jaw. Now all I have to worry about is anything touching the hole in the top of the tooth, which is utter agony when it happens. I still cant wear my denture and my pallette is sore with eating without the plate protecting it, but careful work with tongue and lips usually ensures anything with a temperature that differs from body temperature, does not touch the tooth. 4 more antibiotics to take to complete the course and I must say its a relief not to have my whole jaw throbbing constantly.
