Im probably posting an issue that has been addressed and I apologize if its been in a recent enough post. My issues: I have a 6120DSW (2004) and most of the time the DynaSonic pickups seems to be noisy. Is there a grounding trick or shielding trick I can use to eliminate or limit the buzz. Any better cables? I currently play through a 2004 Fender 65 Twin Reverb reissue. I use George L cables. I also use two effects. Snow Job (underdrive, technically a pickup overdrive pedal) and a Golden Echo (both by Lotus pedals.) Even without the pedals in line, the guitar pickups seem to grab a lot of electric hum or buzz through any amp or any cable I have tried so far. I know that it is normal for single coil pickups to be noisy or buzzy. But is it worth considering modifying a 10 year old guitar that was built with Dynasonics (DSW) with humbuckers? Or are there any other tips/tricks or advice I can try first. All help is truly appreciated. GoMez!
