Im proud to announce that the big girl bed is DONE! We finished (pictured below) at about 6pm. Yes, it took that long...but yes, I said we...Pop and Berry wanted to help. Actually Berry would mostly interrupt the work to tell us to hurry up because she was so essited. Pop helped hold and pass some things, acted as first-aider, and proudly screwed in the last screw! You heard right...there was an injury...which I proudly display below. I was a little overzealous with the hammer...thanks to my new wrist muscles...and pinched the snot out of my finger. There was blood, a bandage was needed (which Pop got me). Seems its not just crafting thats hazardous for me... Were all good. My finger (finally) stopped throbbing, the kidlets are sound asleep...Berrys snuggled in her big bed with the biggest smile. :) Thanks for letting me share my crazy bed-making adventure.
