Im proud to be...... What makes you proud to be your ethnicity and vice versa? What is your ethnicity, purebred, poi dog or a poster child of the United Natoons? Basically, Im proud to say Im Japanese, but disappointed to the fact Japan is high on Whale hunting, killing hundreds, maybe even close to thousands of whales per year. On top of that, they were proven to be disguising hunting whales for commercial purposes and not for scientific research, as they previously claimed. The plus side of this situation, at least Japan has agreed to abide to the UN ruling and canceling their upcoming whale hunt in Antarctica. Other than that, Im proud to be Japanese. : )
