Im publicly committing to doing NaNoWriMo this November. Ive actually got a rough outline and everything this time. So, please feel free during the month of November to ask me how the writing is going, or what my wordcount is (need to hit 50,000 by the end of the month). For those interested, current working title is Eater of Men: A decades long deep-space colonization mission is threatened when ship damage, onboard AI malfunctions, and a mutiny leaves only one crew member alive with few supplies, thousands of hibernating colonists, an insane AI, and years of solitude before the destination is reached. With the survival of all the colonists depending on him, the crew member must make use of the only abundant food supply left... And the story will NOT climax with people chasing each other through the ship. Of course, in NaNoWriMo fashion, I reserve the right to chuck that novel five days in and start on a totally new idea.
