Im reading the Sermon on the Mount this morning. I do not like it. I find the call and teaching of Jesus to be hard if not impossible. However, I do want to be blessed, and that is what Jesus promises for those who live in harmony with those points he mentions. I am working on being a peaceful presence but it is hard. However, I am thankful I am not a talk show host or it would be impossible. The only reason they succeed is by fostering dissent, suspicion, anger and conflict!
