Im ready. Im ready to find someone who knows how to live. Im ready to meet someone who isnt defined by fear. Who else is dissatisfied with where theyre at? Who else wants to walk the road less traveled? Who else longs for a life out of the ordinary? How do we get out of the ordinary? How do we find a way to live everyday from our souls? How do we live in such a way that everyday is extraordinary? I believe the first step is to give it all to God. I believe another is to find all the things you can be grateful for now. What do you have in your life that you dont appreciate enough? What do you have that you take foregranted? How can you elevate the ordinary to extraordinary? I am suggesting the way to make that happen is to pay attention to what you have, praise God and life for what you (or I) have been given now. What we want or need turn over to God. I have had a repeated theme recently in one scripture. Matthew 6: (Do Not Worry) 25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life [a] ? 28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. This has come up repeatedly lately...... when I read something and shared it a week ago on FB. I heard it again in my Dave Ramsey class on Sunday night. And again a third time yesterday in a conversation with my friend, Toni. I know it is something I need to and am working on. I have spent a lot of time accepting less than I can have and deserve to have. I have spent many years putting others first. God didnt intend for me or anyone else to be a second class citizen. I have recently gotten the message that I need to go big. I dont think big enough. I have never really thought in terms of going big. I am not generally that kind of person. I want to be comfortable. Well I know I can do better than that. I am intended to go BIG! I am intended to help others. If I only shoot for comfortable then I wont have the opportunity to help as many as I could. So I am listening. I dont know what it means or what to expect but here we go! Go big or go home!
