Im ready to release my official statement on the death of genie...I know this has been posted numerous times today, but Im going to repeat it. Depression is REAL...it is far from that mental picture of a cry baby that everyone has in their minds...it is a constant state of hopelessness no matter how many church services you go to ...its a feeling of worthlessness despite the balance of your checking and savings accounts...it is the state of loneliness in the company of thousands of friends and family members....its a disease...an illness...just like high blood pressure,diabetes, cancer...and no...not all depressed people cry...most actually hide it very well behind the most beautiful smiles and the most colorful laughters because they dont want to appear weak or worry their loved ones and sadly these are the people that end up ending their lives or coming close....let robins death be a lesson...if you are concerned that you may be experiencing depression seek help now...there are so many resources available for you....
