Im really hating some of the posts Im getting on FB about how people are taking their hard earned money to live high on the hog on welfare. If youre lucky (blessed) enough to have never had to depend on anyone for anything in your life, or, in the alternative, if youre lucky enough (blessed) to have had friends or parents who helped you out in times of need - because they could, dont begrudge folks who, through no fault of their own in most cases, need a helping hand for a time. Welfare cheese is the best! Standing on line waiting for it can make you grateful you have your own life and not the lives of any of the folks you stand on line with. In most cases, these folks tend to give back in spades - and they never forget what it felt like to be hungry, or cold, or trying to hide from their children how bad things really were. Get over it, folks. Most people who need Food Stamps arent eating steak and lobster. There are always a few who beat the system...the stuff they have isnt from the meager Welfare money they get (and shouldnt)...its usually from supplementing that with drug money or some other illegal activity. The majority of the folks who get it NEED it! Just sayin.
