Im really saddened by the death of Robin Williams. And was very angry about it. Anger is part of grief. I apologize if i offended anyone, but my feelings are my feelings. Time and clearer minds prevail tho and I try to never make posts from pure emotion, as things can go boom. This one got out before I had time with it. Here is what I wrote that remembers the man, the one I will always celebrate as the renaissance man he was. Robin Williams is one of my favorite actors of all time. And, in my opinion, tied with George Carlin as the greatest comedians to silly-walk on this Earth. He was the first actor I followed movie to movie since I first saw Mork & Mindy as a child. Against their better judgment, my parents let me rent his 1986 live act VHS, Faster Than A Speeding Bullet. They shut it off fairly quick tho lol like with in 10min lol The man was a true Court Jester and incredible improv-ist, but his real gift was his versatility. From slapstick comedies (like Mork & Mindy) to powerful drama roles that rival any others performances. And those films are some of the best ever made. My personal favs (in no particular order): DEAD POETS SOCIETY, WHAT DREAMS MAY COME, HOOK, ONE HOUR PHOTO, POPEYE, GOOD WILL HUNTING, BICENTENNIAL MAN, DEATH TO SMOOCHY Oh Captain, My Captapin.....RIP, Robin.
