Im reposting this cause if were Facebook amigos you should prolly know the following 15 facts: 1. I like to play golf, basketball or read when not playing music 2. I couldnt spend the night until I was 12 due to vicious panic attacks I had when I tried 3. The first major tour I went on was with John Paul Keith in Europe this last year. We played in Denmark, Sweden, Holland, Norway, France, Germany, Serbia, Slovenia, Italy and passed through several other counties 4. My family had a house fire when I was in 10th grade that destroyed everything we had, luckily not our lives! 5. Ive been in 2 bad car wrecks, contracted salmonella, and have been carbon monoxide poisoned 6. I am the youngest of 4 siblings, Robin Brooks and Jordan are my elders. Not many of you know about all 3 of them! 7. When I was really young my familys barn had tons of dogs, cats, horses, goats, and many other animals in it. 8. Before finishing school at U of M I was enrolled in the Jazz Drumming program at University of Tennessee for 2 years 9. I share a birthday with Al Green (April 13)- we are Aries. Hence his song Im a Ram. I love listening to that song and playing it with my bands 10. I was fascinated with the musical Les Miserables long before it just was remade this year. Ive known every word to every song since I was 16. Theres a few other musicals I enjoy a lot 11. I practice piano WAY more than drums these days. I just perform at gigs on drums way more than on piano. In fact I never play piano at gigs, that should change 12. I went to 5 different schools between Kindergarten and 12th grade and played soccer the whole way through 13. I was gigging by age 13. Neils was cool enough to let Copper Possum play. I was also getting dropped off by my parents for gigs with Granola Shrapnel at age 14-15, where I would play all night long then have to be in class the next day. I would fall asleep in my 10th grade math class and my teacher would catch me and make me stand for the rest of the class. I was exhausted from playing the night before! 14. My biggest fear? Amusement park rides. They scare me more than death itself. I will ride them, but its like trying to bathe a cat 15.
