Im resting in a hammock. One of my favourite things to do. The sign into this garden reads no shirt, no shoes and no worries 👍 and... its true! The island is green in the middle (forest), yellow on the edges (beaches) and blue outside (the Atlantic) - ironically, the Brazilian flag inverted. Im resting on one of the 100-odd beaches here, accessible only by boat. It sounds grand but there are no roads or cars to manoeuvre, only speed boats and hiking boots and... Its fun. The locals speak Portuguese, even though I dont speak it, convinced I will understand them - funnily enough, sometimes it works. The breeze is almost perfect, the best Ive felt beyond 30dc. The Atlantic waves are moving gently, the sea trapped by the bay. Before hearing folks across the garden, I hear birds making new and unusual noises. One sounds like hes moving a bag of marbles, how weird? To my left is a gorgeous woman, peacefully reading and doing her thing. Her hammock holds her elegantly ;-) Thats my scene right now... Life is good :-)
