Im saddened to hear about the passing of the lovely Linda L. Eckess today. While I didnt know Linda for too long - she was always so happy to see me and the other Sisters, and she was always eager to photograph us, as she did in this photo below. She was passionate about her art, and did a fantastic job of capturing the joy that Sisters try to emulate. In conversing with her on this special day, she told me how much she loved the work that we do, and it reaffirmed to me that becoming a Sister was the right path to be on. Thank you so much Linda for capturing some of the most joyful moments Ive had as part of the Vancouver Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, and may you continue to watch over us and photograph those whose lives youve touched from the heavens above. My deepest condolences to Lindas family and friends - I know these past few months have been difficult and heart wrenching. Love Visa xo.
