Im saying it again, textbooks are a huge scam. They update them every couple of years so you cant keep getting used ones, and now a lot of times they want you to buy one time computer access for them for an additional $100. I love that they have a new edition of math books every few years, because I guess they discovered some different new calculus they needed to include, lol. But youre stuck and theres no way to fight it as long as schools and professors keep choosing to participate in this scam. Jacks books for 2 classes would have been $500 total for the semester. He got one off Craigslist for $50 and we rented the other for $70, but a lot of people just naively buy them at full price because they dont know any better.
