Im sharing this baby again because I want to keep it at the top of my page. For those of you who dont know, Ive been working my tail off for the last four days trying to rescue this baby. I have an adopter in NJ. I have the ability to get him the vet care he desperately needs for his eye -- he has his vet work sponsored by a wonderful woman in California. I drove down to the shelter Friday, leaving here at 12:30 p.m. for what should have been a six hour round trip but turned into a 10 hour round trip due to horrendous traffic on I-275 in Atlanta. Despite the fact they knew I was coming and knew I had been on the road for several hours, when I arrived at the shelter 25 minutes late, they were closed and gone. Im working closely with a number of individuals on this project, including a rescue on the ground there in Cedartown, GA. I have posted for a ride for this kitten on the Pilots N Paws forum and I will be speaking to Polk County Animal Control on Monday morning in hopes they will release him to a volunteer to bring him to the airport in case we find a ride. Thank God we live in the digital age.
